Omaha Gives - May 20th

We are excited to participate in Omaha Gives this year. Funds raised will go towards our Tenant Assistance Program.

The tenant assistance program provides clients with financial assistance to pay for one-time expenses that are an obstacle to their self sufficiency.  In the past the program has paid for CNA classes, welding supplies, fixing a flat tire, and a hearing aid.

This is more important than ever as our Annual Golf Outing fundraiser was canceled due to COVID-19. Please help us to meet our goals!

To All Current Residents:

As a preventative measure to protect our visitors and staff from exposure to rapidly evolving health concerns, Bellevue Housing Agency Serving Sarpy County will be closed to walk in clients until further notice.  Staff will be available for phone calls and emails and will be responsive to both.

Who is Housing Foundation for Sarpy County?

The Housing Foundation for Sarpy County is a non-profit affiliate of the Bellevue Housing Agency Serving Sarpy County (BHA).  Established in 2007, the Foundation provides a broad range of support services to BHA clients that are beyond the scope of what governmental agencies can generally provide.  Through mentoring, peer group support, counseling and monthly educational programs, many of our families achieve economic self-sufficiency.  Over the years, clients have seen life changing successes including acceptance into college, graduation, better jobs and increased income – many of our clients have been able to leave our programs permanently after reaching educational and employment goals.

Beyond support services, the Foundation seeks to increase housing opportunities for those individuals and families that would not otherwise qualify for decent and affordable living accommodations.  Through property acquisition, property management and partnerships with like-minded community entities, the Foundation is dedicated to meeting the growing workforce housing needs in Sarpy County.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 and receives no HUD funding and is supported 100% by donations.  If you would like to support our efforts, please consider a donation.
